Sometimes it's due to the clips being recorded with a not-quite-compatible codec, other times it's a temporary error that comes up when generating shadow files. Those media errors can happen for a number of reasons. Could you upload one of your source clips to see if anyone else has the problems you're experiencing? I don't see anything worrisome in the DxDiag file, other than you're using 4-year-old hardware which will struggle with some HD clips. What version of PD do you have? Have you downloaded and installed the 2930 patch that was released a couple of days ago? GeoRanger - thanks for uploading your DxDiag file, and kudos for keeping your video driver current :
